Daktyl Connect

Your coding agents, on your machines, from your phone.

Daktyl Connect puts the coding agents already running on your computers — whichever harness you use — on your phone. Chat with them, take the call hands-free, approve a risky command from the lock screen, open a port and tap it, and steer the whole fleet. Every machine dials out to one always-on hub, so there is nothing to forward and nothing to expose.

How it works

1. Install the CLI on a computer

One command installs the CLI and the channel plugin. One more connects the machine: it signs you in, shows a QR to scan with the app, registers the computer and starts its daemon.

curl -fsSL https://app.daktylconnect.com/install.sh | sh
daktyl connect

Supported hosts: Linux and macOS. Windows runs it under WSL today; native Windows comes later.

2. Get the app

The iOS app is the cockpit — machines, agents, chat, calls and lock-screen status in one place. TestFlight during the preview.

3. Start an agent in the harness you already use

daktyl create names the agent, picks the harness and model, and launches it in a registered project — or do the same from the app. From then on it is on your phone.

Works with your harness

Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Hermes, Antigravity and Cursor. No favourites — each one seats the same way and shows up the same way on the phone.

What you get

Any harness, one cockpit

They run side by side; the phone shows them all the same way, and adding a harness is configuration, not a new app.

Chat from anywhere

Message a live agent on any of your machines and read its replies as push notifications. Send a photo and the agent reads it on its own machine.

Voice calls

Ring an agent, or let it ring you, as a full-screen call on the lock screen. Talk turn-by-turn, hear the replies out loud, read the transcript afterwards.

Approve from the lock screen

When an agent needs permission it reaches you. Approve or deny from the notification, without opening the app.

Agent policy

Two switches per agent: talk decides whether it may message other agents, manage decides whether it may start or stop them. Enforced at the hub, not just hidden in the UI.

Tunnels

An agent opens a port on its machine and you tap it on your phone. The page is served peer-to-peer straight from the machine — the hub only introduces the two ends.

Fleet control

Start, stop, restart, retask and re-model agents on every registered computer. No SSH, no terminal, no port forwarding, no VPN.

Triggers

A named webhook bound to one agent, with its own token: CI, a monitor or a cron job POSTs a prompt and the agent acts on it. The prompt arrives carrying the trigger's name, so an agent can always tell it from a person. The token is shown once, stored hashed, fires that one trigger and nothing else, and is rate-limited.

Bring your own model

Point a harness at an OpenAI-compatible endpoint on your own hardware and the seat runs on it. Daktyl checks it answers and stays out of the way.

What we promise

Free in V1

The whole product, no tiers, no card, for as many machines and agents as you like.

No cloud backup, by design

Your work stays on your machines. The hub coordinates them; it does not host, copy or back up what your agents do.

Outbound only

Every machine dials out to one always-on hub. Nothing listens for inbound connections — a NAT'd desktop, a cloud box and a laptop on hotel wifi all behave the same.

Sessions that survive

Restart an agent and it resumes the same conversation. Past sessions stay resumable when a process dies or a machine reboots.
